

Cranston Helen E. Lynch, 89, a native of Natick Ave, Cranston, passed away at Kent Hospital on November 5th after a brief illness. For the past year she resided at the Atria Harbor Hill Assisted Living Center in East Greenwich. She was the daughter of the late Denis and Catherine (Curran) Lynch, and sister of the late Catherine T. McNiff, Mildred F. Lynch and Margaret M. McNiff. She was a graduate of Cranston High School and worked at the General Electric Wiring Device Department for over 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities at her home in Cranston. She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church for many years and enjoyed the activities of the Rosary and Alter Sodality. She leaves a nephew, John McNiff and his wife Clare, her nephew, the late George E. McNiff and his wife Maureen; two grand-nephews, Steven McNiff and Matthew McNiff; and four grand nieces, Laura Murphy, Catherine Blair, Anne Cantwell and Rosemary Ewart. She also leaves eleven great-grand nephews and nieces. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday from 5 - 7 pm.
