

Born on May 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Phyllis Carcieri (Mariani) of Providence, and beloved wife of the late Calvin G. Ford; sister of Dottie Protano and the late Henry Testa. She leaves behind two daughters and a son, Susan Jeschke (Corrente) and her husband Karl, George Corrente, and Karen Kittell (Corrente) and her husband Eric. She had four grandchildren - Kory Jeschke, Kristopher Jeschke, Kaila Alger (Kittell), and Keith Jeschke. She was blessed with six wonderful great-grandchildren - Kaden, Joseph, Liam, Landon, Liana, and Jake. She leaves behind two stepchildren, Calvin Ford and Elizabeth Raffo, and also her best friend, Carolyn Anderson.
Helen was a top performer in furniture sales in Florida. After retiring and moving back to Rhode Island, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She made many friends while attending the North Providence Senior Center, where she loved playing cards, bingo, and attending their social events. She was an avid sports fan, and she especially loved the Boston Red Sox. Helen was a woman of great faith and was dedicated to her parish, St. Thomas. Heaven certainly gained another angel when it received her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. A livestream of the Mass may be viewed at the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home Facebook page at 10 AM.
