Inga Mann

MANN, INGA B., 94, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017. She was the loving wife of Leon S. Mann for 56 years and was predeceased by her first husband, John Werner Basch. Inga was born in Germany and immigrated to the US in 1936. She was a daughter of the late Herman and Bertha (Rosenau) Freudenberg. Besides being an avid golfer, she served on the Board and Clinical Research Review Board at The Miriam Hospital, the Women’s Association at the RISD Museum of Art, and as a valued volunteer at the United Way of Southeastern New England. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Joan (Lou) Chesner of La Jolla, CA, Susan (Bill) Fink of Boston, MA, Carol Mann of West Bloomfield, MI, and Robbie (Judy) Mann of Providence, and sister, Helen Grossman of Providence. She is also survived by grandchildren Jonathan and Michael Chesner, Lauren and Andrew (Amelia) Fink, and Max and Zack Mann; and great-grandson Teddy Fink. Memorial services will be held Monday, October 23rd at 11:00 AM at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St, Providence. Shiva will be held at Laurelmead, 355 Blackstone Blvd, Providence immediately following the service and also on Monday 7-9 PM.
