HAMIN, IRWIN B., 75, died April 2, 2014. He was the husband of Judy (Leonard) Hamin. Born in Providence, the son of the late Samuel and Edythe (Siegal) Hamin, he was a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. Mr. Hamin attended Boston University. He was President of the former McGrath-Hamin, Inc. and an executive of several other jewelry companies. Mr. Hamin was a member of Temple Beth El. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Susan Hamin of Cranston and Deborah Hamin of East Greenwich; his sister, Roberta Hamin of Providence, his nephew, Samuel Fleet of East Greenwich; and his grandchildren, Scott & Lily. He was the father of the late Leslie Hamin. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 4th at 12 Noon in Sons of Israel & David Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115. Shiva will be private.
