CoventryJanet Y. Barry, 87, of Weaver Hill Road, died peacefully Christmas morning at Alpine Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence A. Barry. Born in Attleboro, Ma, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary R. (Soucy) Smith, she lived in Warwick most of her life. She leaves a daughter, Roseann M. Thatcher; three sons, Lawrence A. Barry, III, Kenneth A. Barry and Stephen P. Barry; two sisters, Sr. Eileen Smith, D.H.S. and Sr. Mary Lou Smith, D.H.S; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sts. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday, 5:00 - 7:00 pm.
