Janice M. Maglione

Janice Marie (Boscia) Maglione, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elvira (Tortis) Boscia and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, CSM Leonard Maglione and her sister Carolyn Boscia.

She was the loving mother of Carolyn Teare, Janine Calise and Lenore Susi; mother in law of Christian Teare, Robert Calise and Joseph Susi; cherished grandmother “Nonni” of Robert, Gian, Mason and Cole Calise, Leonard Breit and Aria Teare who she loved more than anything. She was also the sister of James Boscia.

They will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

Janice had a bookkeeping background and attended Johnson & Wales University. She retired in 2010, a talented decorator and successful business owner.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4:00 -7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Funeral will be Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
