She was the wife of the late Richard Ranucci. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Marchetti) Copponi.
Jean was the loving mother of Gina Ranucci, Lori Baggesen and her husband Brian, and Linda Ranucci; cherished grandmother of Stephanie Baggesen (Christopher), Christine Thomas (George), Jennifer Yaghjian (Joshua), and Nicole Baggesen; great-grandmother of George Thomas IV, Benjamin Thomas, Christopher Lohin and Melanie Yaghjian. She was the sister of Theresa Casalino, Mary Bianco, Bernard Copponi and the late Frederick Copponi and Anita Ranucci.
Visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, July 27th from 9:30-10:30 in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am in St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
