DeOliveira, Joana (Monteiro), age 76, of Eaton St, passed away on Saturday at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Luis Monteiro. Born in Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Andre and Maria (DaSilva) DeOliveira. She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. Mother of Maria Varela, David Monteiro, and Antonio Oliveira, all of Providence, and Maria Filomena Mendes of Attleboro. She was also the grandmother of 10. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, at 8:45 am, from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse St., Providence.
