Providence John J. Curtin, Jr., 95, of Basswood Avenue, died Monday morning, March 7, 2016, at EPOCH Living Center, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothea L. (Lynch) Curtin.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John J. and Catherine (Gildea) Curtin.John was an electrical engineer and co-owner of Andrews Electric Company for many years before retiring in 1986, and also worked for Eagle Electric for several years. He served his country proudly in World War II as a Navy pilot in the South Pacific and was a graduate of the University Notre Dame.He leaves a daughter, Susan C. Pariseau (Ronald), four sons, Christopher M. Curtin (Wanda), Brian J. Curtin (Mary Beth), Kevin E. Curtin (Carol), and David D. Curtin (Maria), nine loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jesse Curtin and two brothers, Henry Curtin and Peter Curtin.The funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Russell J.
