John F. Flynn

Flynn, John F., age 73 of Ladderlook Rd, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer over the last 11 years.He was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Janson) Flynn, and the loving father of Jennifer Flynn of Warwick.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Teresa (Mangan) Flynn.Before his retirement, Mr. Flynn was a self employed attorney. He was a graduate of Classical High School, Providence College, and Boston University School of Law. He was a member of the RI Bar Association since 1964.He was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family and friends. John was an avid reader, a man of tradition and his daily routines.Besides his loving daughter, he is survived by several nieces and nephews throughout the US, England and Ireland. Those especially dear to him were his niece Lori Morse and her children Kevin Jr., Jonathan and Kayla Flynn, a cousin Charles Mangan of Newport, and his extended family Catherine Leary and Joyce Masse.He was the brother of the late James Flynn and Margaret Watters.His funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY at 7:45am from The RUSSELL J.
