PROVIDENCE - Sullivan, John J. Jr., 55, formally of California Avenue, and most recently of Hope House and Brick Manor, passed away from lung cancer Thursday July 12, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Catherine (Cahillane) Sullivan, he was a lifelong city resident. John was a graduate of Rhode Island College, obtained a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a law degree from Suffolk Law School. He worked for the department of Attorney General until illness forced his retirement many years ago. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Kathleen Ann Sullivan, a Providence teacher at ML King School. Funeral Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 8:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Paul Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
