Joseph A. Spina, Jr., 58, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Miriam Hospital, in Providence, surrounded by his loving family.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Sr., and Clara (Palumbo) Spina.Joseph had a great love for animals, and he was a devoted son, loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.He leaves his three sons, Joseph A. Spina, III, John Johnson, and Ali Spina; three grandchildren, Ethan, Elliana, and Gabriella; a brother James Spina; two sisters, Cheryl Cyr and Linda Torr. Committal prayers and Interment will take place on Friday, October 24, 2012 at 12:00 noon, in the Saint Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston.
