Josephine Montefusco

Born in Providence, Josephine was a daughter of the late Pietro and Vincenza Castriotta.

She worked at the M.C. Smith Company for many years as a sales rep. and then at A.T. Cross Company for many years before her retirement.

Josephine was the beloved sister of Mary Valletta and the late Anna DeSante, Carmela Vendresca, and Matthew, Lawrence, George and Guy Castriotta.

She was the cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews and also a beloved godmother to many.

Josephine was a devout Catholic with a very strong faith. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and she will be greatly missed.

Her visitation will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 31 Poplar Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
