Joyce A. Dolan

Dolan, Joyce A. (Leonard) 72, of Cranston, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Scandinavian Home in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of Louis R. Dolan. They have been married for 52 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Lillian R. (Horsefield) Leonard. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Cranston. Mrs. Dolan was a sales merchandiser for the Kayser-Roth Corporation for 12 years. She was a graduate of Saint Xavier Academy Class of 1957, and also a member of the Alumnae Association. Joyce loved Cape Cod, painting, cooking, and spending time with her family. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Robert L. Dolan of Marion, MA, Pamela J. DelliCarpini and her husband Joseph, of Hopedale MA, and Kimberly A. Duchesne and her husband Michael, of Cranston; and the cherished grandmother of 6; and a brother, Arthur H. Leonard, Jr. of East Setauket, L.I.N.Y. She was also the sister of the late John Leonard. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Route 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mark Church, Garden City, Cranston. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol, RI. Visiting hours will be Monday, from 4-7 pm.
