Julian Rivera

He was the beloved husband of Lizzy C. Fuentes; devoted son of Luis F. Rivera Ferrufino and Yola T. Daza de Rivera; and the cherished father of Gabriel Fuentes, Jasian, Cristian and Julian Rivera. A beloved grandson, nephew to several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Julian was a man with a huge heart and it didn't go unseen. He loved his children tremendously and he never let them forget it. He was stubborn and impulsive but kind and patient. He loved his wife very much and he would do anything in his power to make her happy. He shared many happy memories with the ones closest to him in which we will never forget. He loved to be humorous and play jokes, but most of all he was loyal, he was that best friend that you meet once in a lifetime and a spouse that loved his wife and children with all his soul. He used to say to his wife " Lizzy you are my soul mate and you are good, I would never change you for the world, I have always and will always choose you, I love you." Since his departure the house has grown quiet but his children bring laughter of life and hope that within them he will always be with us.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 9th, 4-7 p.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relative and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a graveside burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
