Karen was the devoted wife of Peter J. Buxton, with whom she shared 48 years of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.
She is survived by her sister Linda J. Gilleau and several nieces and nephews.
Karen will be remembered as a kind and generous soul, someone who was always there for others. She had a deep love for cats and a heart full of compassion. Though she had a fiery spirit and a temper to match, those who knew her best understood that beneath it all was a truly good-hearted woman, she was truly one in a million.
Her presence brought warmth and comfort to those around her, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Her funeral services and burial will be private.
