Karissa Rose Harrison

Karissa R. Harrison, 24, of Johnston, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio V. DeSousa and Dawn M. Harrison Karissa enjoyed dirt bike riding and outdoor activities with her children and was her brother’s keeper. Karissa loved her family very much and will be missed by all that knew her. She leaves her beloved children, Lyalo Harrison-Perez, Jezabel and Josiah Harrison; a brother and best friend, Anthony V. Harrison; paternal grandparents, the late Manuel Gomes and Gilda (Amaral) DeSousa; maternal grandparents, Patricia J. (Gill) Harrison and the late George R. Harrison; three nieces; two nephews; 3 godchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 8:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am, in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence.
