Kenneth Albert Lafazia

Kenneth A. LaFazia, 94, of North Providence and formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Murphy) LaFazia and was the former husband to the late Evelyn (Barszcz) Gould.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert “Libby” and Angela (Ferri) LaFazia.

He was a retired Jewelry Manufacturer and owner of Mar-Glo Jewelry and founder of Karen Kreations. He was President of Page Tool, Lib Realty and Ken Fed Realty and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.

Ken was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict on the USS Missouri. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; Fr. John J. Feeney Council, No. 7110 and a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society of Cranston and the Knights of Columbus Salvatore Mancini Lodge # 2440.

Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Karen Simpson of West Warwick, a step daughter, Deborah Rossi of North Providence and 2 grandsons, David and Steven Simpson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

Inurnment with Military Honors to follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
