Providence- McNamara, Kenneth J., 69, of Academy Ave, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. He was the husband of the late Gail E. (Doorley) McNamara.He was born in Providence, the son of the late William and Sally (McBride) McNamara.Ken was a Real Estate Appraiser for 30 years. He served honorably in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He graduated from Providence College in 1967.He is survived by his son Ryan W. McNamara of Providence and his brother William E. McNamara of Providence. He was the brother of the late James and John McNamara.Ken's funeral will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 8:30 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in St. Pius V Church, Eaton St. Providence. Burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
