Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Harold and Elsie (Todoff) Turner.
Ken worked for the Providence Journal for 20 years before retiring in 2016. He was also a U.S. Marine Veteran and a member of the Mason’s, Roger Williams Lodge 32.
He was the father of Amy Pagnano and her husband Chris and Allison Vinacco and grandfather of Kailey, Morgan and Anthony Vinacco and Arianna and Aliyah Pagnano. He was the brother of Nancy Steele and foster brother of the late Donald and Thomas Bennett. He was also the son in law of Ben and Vilma Zanni.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence. Occupancy restrictions, masks and social distancing apply.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Occupancy restrictions, masks and social distancing apply.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
