Kevin T. Desrochers

Kevin T Desrochers of Providence passed away after a brief illness. He is the son of Pauline Tremblay (Lepire) and the late Henry Desrochers. He will be terribly missed by his family- his son Ryan Desrochers and daughter-in-law Kristin; sisters Robin Fisher and Karen Zelano; nephews Thomas and Nicholas Zelano and favorite niece Annarose Zelano-Beard.

He leaves behind his loving companion Thea Gonzalez, as well as many friends and co-workers. The joy and light in Kevin’s life was his granddaughter Luna- who will miss her Pepere dearly. Kevin was an avid fan of New England sports - Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. He was a passionate NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt Jr. The last time he smiled was when he was told the Yankees had lost the World Series. He worked as a sous chef for many years and had a strong work ethic. He was witty and enjoyed a good prank or pun.

His family wishes to thank the staff at RI Hospital’s NCCU as well as the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center.

His visitation and funeral will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius V Church, 240 Eaton Street, Providence.
