Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Algernon and Carmella (Parrillo) Hartshorn.
He was the father of Lawrence L. “Larry” Hartshorn, Jr. and Sharon Lynch; grandfather of 4; great-grandfather of 4; brother of the late Harold and Richard Hartshorn; former husband of Tillie (Giammarco) Hartshorn.
Visitation will be held Monday, 5-7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
