Born on July 30, 1981, in Providence, Rhode Island, Leo approached life with a spirit of adventure and a deep love for family. He found joy in the great outdoors, often spending his time hiking nature trails, fishing or embracing the challenge of hunting. His appreciation for nature extended to all creatures, as he was known for his kindness toward animals, often rescuing even the smallest insects. Above all else, Leo cherished his daughters, Jada (20) and Mila (9). Some of their happiest moments were spent exploring new playgrounds or cooking tacos and burgers at home. Leo’s infectious smile and mischievous spirit brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
Leo is survived by his daughters, Jada and Mila Provencher; parents, Leo and Deborah (Cain) Provencher of Smithfield and Pawtucket, RI; his brother Jason Cain and Tahra Jackson; nephews Jason Cain, Jr. and Jake Cain; his sister Melina Provencher, David Pearsall, niece and nephew, Mia and Nico Pearsall. Leo’s great-grandmother Rita Provencher also remains. In addition to immediate family, Leo leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by grandparents James Cain and Helen M. (Walsh) Cain.
