Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Rose (Pietrunti) Lentini.
Leonard was a talented mold maker in the jewelry industry for many years. He was also an avid Brooklyn Dodger and Los Angeles Dodger fan.
He was the beloved father of Nicole Pellegrino and her husband Jimmy and Joseph Lentini and his fiancée Julie; grandfather of Anthony, Giada and Guiliana; brother of Peter Lentini and his wife Janet, Joseph Lentini, Jr. and his wife Mary and Susan Lentini and uncle of Peter, Jr., Daren, Craig, Melyssa, Shannon and Jodi.
His funeral with visitation will be held Thursday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston.
