Livia C. (Mancini) Forte, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Golden Crest Nursing Centre. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Contilia (Pontarelli) Mancini. She was the wife of the late Aniello (Dan) Forte.
Livia loved cooking and baking for her friends and family.
The beloved mother of Sandra Carrazzo and husband Jack of North Providence; devoted sister of the late John Mancini, Pasqualina Charbonneau, Lisa Amaral, Petrina Chiaverini and Anna Buonaiuto.
Visitation will be held Monday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
