Louis A. DeNunzo

DeNunzio, Louis A. age 90 of Lauriston St. a retired artist and musician , Passed away on Wednesday at his home. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Cebulski) DeNunzio. Born in Mansfield MA on August 20, 1915, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovannina( Callandrella) DeNunzio. Mr. DeNunzio was a self employed artist. He was an avid golfer, a member of Fire Fly Golf Course, and a 40 year member of the YMCA in Providence. Mr. DeNunzio was an Army Veteran of WWII. A graduate of Mansfield High, as a musician Mr DeNunzio played trumpet throughout New England, prior to the war. He followed an art career by attending art schools in Boston and in Liverpool England. He was employed as an illustrator and Art Director in advertising agencies in Boston and in Providence. He created design products unlimited in 1991 with copyrights of product development. In later years he was noted and recognized for his water colors and portraitures that are in private collections from Maine to Califorina. He enjoyed spending time with his family, but most of all had a great love for his grandchildren. Besides his loving wife of over 65 years, he leaves two sons , Thomas J. DeNunzio of Barrington RI, Richard A. DeNunzio of Kittery ME, two daughters Pamela A. Scheer of East Greenwich and Danna M. Collins of Sunnyvale CA. Grandfather of eight and great grandfather of 4. A funeral service will be held on MONDAY at 10am in The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St. Providence, Burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary's cemetery in Mansfield MA.
