Louis Richard O’Brien, 51, of Buchanan Street, Johnston passed away on April 16, 2022 in the HopeHealth Hospice Hulitar Center. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Edward and Frances (Palumbo) O’Brien.
Louis was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and later worked for the John Fogarty Center.
He was the brother of Christine O’Brien and her husband Michael Cianci, Patricia Bouchard, Ida Bisesi, Esther Walton, Edward O’Brien, Daniel O’Brien, Salvatore O’Brien and the late Francisco O’Brien, Lisa Pedchenko and William O’Brien. He was also the uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 9:00 AM from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. For online tribute and condolences, www.romanofuneralhome.com.
