Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Lucy (Papitto) Sasso.
Louie was a Senior Maintenance Technician for CCRI for almost 30 years before retiring. He was an avid fan of all NY sports teams, including the NY football Giants, and his beloved New York Yankees.
He was the loving father of Louis F. Sasso, Jr. and Kara Badgley; step father of Angel Rock Alvarez and Ana Alvarez; loving fur-dad to his beloved dog, Benjie and to the late beloved Sophie and grandfather of Harper and McKenna and his fur-granddog Remy. He was also the brother of Lucille Sasso of Daytona, FL.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private.
