

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vito and Julia (Cipriano) Fiore. Lucy graduated from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing in 1946 as a registered nurse. She worked for 40 years at Women & Infants Hospital and Lying-In Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church, Providence.
She is survived by her loving children, Linda E. Grace Costellese and her husband Dennis of Vero Beach, FL, Kathleen A. Ricard and her husband Stephen of Johnston, Lawrence A. Grace IV of Johnston, Patricia J. Grace Normandin and her husband Robert of Smithfield, David J. Grace of Sunderland, MA, and Steven M. Grace of Providence. Lucy was the cherished ‘Nana’ of Joseph Pettie of Alabama, Richard Pettie of San Diego, Danielle Grace of NYC, Stephen and Kristina Ricard, Bethany, Lindsay, Sara, and Julie Grace all of Rhode Island. She was the loving “Nana Grace” to Nicholas and Mikayla Ricard, Mila Grace Wiaderski, Mailynn Evangelista and the late Arianna Danielle Jimmis. The youngest of 10 children she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ferma Cannavo, Madeline Gorman, Virginia Weston, Mary (Molly) DelNigro, Anita McGrath, Edna Ricci and her brothers Joseph, Vincent and Edward Fiore. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews scattered throughout the country.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Antoine Residence Activity Fund, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI 02896.
