Luis Manuel da Camara Correia

Luis Manuel Da Camara Correia, 56, died Thursday, January 9 of 2025 at 4:42am. Luis was born May 31 of 1968 in the island of São Miguel, Azores. Started working at the young age of 14 by his father’s side on his farm. Later in his life he went on to become a truck driver for a construction company and a taxi driver for many years.

He was married to Maria Susete Vieira Resende Correia and together they were blessed with 1 child, João Luis Resende Correia. Prior to his second marriage he had a daughter Vera Mónica Pacheco Correia.

Although Luis lived a short life passing away at the age of 56 he never relinquished control of his life to the unfortunate cancer he had. Until his very last day he never stopped trying to make the people around him smile and keep their good spirits. His family will always cherish and never forget how playful and happy he was.
