Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of Luis F. and Francisca (Lopez) Hernandez.
Luis was a school bus driver for First Student for many years.
He was the loving father of Deandra Marie Hernandez and Jake Anthony Hernandez; brother of Jose, Adrian, Yocasta, and Yasmin. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 791 Potters Avenue, Providence.
