Quote from Mickey’s children:
“Mom taught us how to be tough, how to love, how to give and earn respect, and how to speak up for yourself. She was one of the most real and raw people you would ever meet, and she always wore her heart on her sleeve. Her blunt honesty was a breath of fresh air among the many distractions of life. Mom inspired everyone she was close to never to be ashamed of who they were, and never let anyone make you feel small. She may have been a small woman to some, but to those she was close to, she was a giant. Rest now, until we see you again, we love you”.
