Maria G. Ciccone

Born in Pontecorvo, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco A. and Maria A. (Spiridigliozzi) DelMastro.

Mrs. Ciccone worked for Vargas Manufacturing for several years before retiring. She was a devoted communicant of St. Bartholomew Church and was an avid gardener, baker and cook.

She was the mother of John Ciccone and his wife Silvana of Cranston; grandmother of Andrew and his wife Jennifer of West Warwick and Marco and his wife Jeanne of Newark, DE, great grandmother of Thomas and Andrew II and was predeceased by 8 siblings.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Entombment to follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION SUNDAY 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Bartholomew Memorial Fund.
