Maria M. Jerace Hutchinson

Maria Margherita (Jerace) Hutchinson, 70, passed away January 7, 2017. Born in New York City, NY, she was a daughter of the late Fortunato and Mary Louise (Fleming) Jerace. Maria was the beloved mother of Mark Hutchinson (Nicole Flanagan); sister of Francesca Gregori (David), Michael Jerace and Christopher Jerace (Sally), sister in law to Charlotte Jerace. She also leaves behind life-long friend, Lucie Keating. Maria spent twenty five years establishing a strong network of love and friendship in Highland Park, IL. She worked for Ticor Insurance as an Escrow Technician. She was an amazing person who showed the rest of the world what courage really was. Her inner strength and determination to live life in a state of grace despite all odds was her inspiration to those who stood with her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 14th at 12 p.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Fund or Providence Animal Rescue League. A casual gathering for all is being held at 331 River Ave, Providence, RI, 02908 afterwards for food and stories.
