Martha Waney Neal Kashouh

West Warwick Martha Waney Neal Kashouh, 77, of West Warwick, passed away on July 20, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the wife of Joseph E. Kashouh, Sr. They were married for 61 years.Born in Pleebo, Liberia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Neal and Rebecca Scere. She worked as a telephone operator for Liberian Telecommunications for many years before retiring. Martha was a member of the Cedar Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and the Liberian Association. She was also a communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Providence.Besides her husband, she leaves six sons, Victor J. Kashouh, Sr. and his wife Penelope, Raymond Kashouh, Emile Kashouh and his wife Marilyn, Joseph Kashouh, Jr. and his wife Sandra, Michael Kashouh, and Samuel Scere and his wife Marie; three daughters, Gertrude Kashouh Paygai and her husband Reubin, Vivian Azar Webster and her husband Norman, and Mercy Scere; four sisters, Annie Neal Bass, Jane Ballout, Betty Smith, and Mary Dixon; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William Neal, Reverend Weah Natt, and Rose Gilman.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours Friday, 6 -10 pm.
