Mary Mahoney

PAWTUCKET Mary (Frawley) Mahoney, 85, of Walker Street, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011, at the Rhode Island Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late James P. Mahoney. Born in County Clare, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late John and Bridget (Devitt) Frawley. Mary was a communicant of Saint Mary's Church in Pawtucket, and was a very loving and caring person who was devoted to her family and friends. She leaves her two sons, John Mahoney, of Pawtucket and Patrick Mahoney of Newport; a brother, Michael Frawley, of Ireland, a sister, Bridie Duffy, of Pawtucket; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also a sister of the late John Frawley and Patrick Frawley. Her funeral will be held on Friday, at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mary's Church, 103 Pine Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours, Thursday, 4-7pm.
