

Maureen Alice (Kelly) DiPinto, “Moeski” age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 8, 2022 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late D.I. DiPinto, Sr.
Born in Providence, Maureen was the daughter of the late John M. and Alice W. (Duffy) Kelly and sister of the late John M. Kelly and Richard F. Kelly.
Maureen worked as a telephone operator for the former Providence Telephone Company during the 1950’s and later was employed for Blue Cross Blue Shield before retiring in 1992.
She was an avid reader of novels written by James Patterson, The New York Post and any and all tabloid magazines she could get her hands on. Maureen also attended church every chance she could as she was a devoted catholic. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of D.I. DiPinto, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Berkley, MA. Allyson Blade and her husband Michael of Pawtucket and the late Robert DiPinto and cherished grandmother of Courtney, William “Billy” and Bailey. She also leaves her cousin Donna DeSimone of Cranston who was like her sister.
Her visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
