NARRAGANSETT: Garrahy, Maureen A. (Kendall), 74, of Narragansett and N. Ft. Meyers, FL died peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Wife of Vincent J. Garrahy, married 54 years. Born in Providence, the daughter of the late Leigh and Margaret Kendall. Survived by her six children, Maureen Lott, Kathleen Leeming, Margaret Garrahy, Eileen Tait, Daniel Garrahy, Michael Garrahy, her sister Barbara Wilson, brother Phillip Kendall, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Maureen graduated Hope High School. After raising her children, she was the owner of Helene's Bridal Shoppe in East Providence for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family. A private Mass was held on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at St. Thomas More Church in Narragansett.
