Maureen T. Lang

Warwick Maureen T. Lang , 76, of Williamsburg Circle, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, July 15, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George J. Lang, Sr. They were married for fifty-two years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Catherine M. ( Manning ) Leahy. Besides her husband George, she leaves two daughters, Michaela Beagan and Geraldine Lewis; three sons, George J. Lang, Jr., Patrick J. Lang and Timothy J. Lang; two sisters, Elizabeth J. Flaxington and Patricia A. Laprey; and nine loving grandchildren. She was a sister of the late John J., William F. and Edward Leahy, Eleanor T. Phipps, Jean M. Moran, and Catherine M. Horn. The funeral will be held Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 618 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 3 - 7 pm.
