ProvidenceMaureen A. McHugh, 54, of Ninth Street, died Monday at the Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas H. McHugh. They were married for thirty-two years. Born in Providence, a daughter of Margaret (McKenna) Skelly of Providence and the late Harold Skelly, she lived in Providence most of her life. Maureen was a registered nurse for many years and worked in several health care facilities during her career. Beside her husband, and mother, she leaves a daughter, Jamie McHugh; two sons, Tommy McHugh and Brian McHugh; and two brothers Harold Skelly and Kevin Skelly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, at 10:00 am, in Saint Raymond Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Inurnment will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
