Coventry Maureen McNiff, 69, of Village Green Circle, and formerly of Cranston, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 12, 2014, at home. She was the wife of the late George E. McNiff. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Priscilla (Browning) Marlowe. Maureen was a homemaker and later employed by Ross Simon Jewelers for several years before retiring. She leaves a daughter, Laura A. Murphy and her husband James; two sons, Steven M. McNiff and his wife Michelle, and Matthew J. McNiff; a brother, Peter Marlowe; a sister, Carolyn Marlowe and her companion Raymond White; and five loving grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Colin Murphy and Ryan, Logan and Brayden McNiff. She was a sister of the late Paul Marlowe. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 5 - 7 pm.
