Michael R. Mainelli, Sr

Coventry: Mainelli, Michael R. Sr., 64, of Lear Dr., died Sunday, September 10th, peacefully at home. Born in Providence, he graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Providence College. He worked for over forty-five years in the transportation industry, the last fifteen years for Ryder Corporation, from which he retired in 2003. He was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Regine) Mainelli.Mr. Mainelli is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Marilyn (Smith) Mainelli and their four children, Michael R. Jr. and his wife, Mina Mainelli of Longwood, FL, David Mainelli of Coventry, Christopher Mainelli of San Franciscio, CA and one daughter, Deborah L. Furtado of West Warwick., a sister, Maria Buzzerio of Providence. He was the brother of the late Mrs. Evelyn Carnegis.He is also survived by seven precious grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha Furtado, Jennifer and David Mainelli, Jr., Roxanne, Alexander and Maxence Viau.Funeral will be Thursday at 8:45am from the Rusell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd. (Route 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am in SS. John and Paul Church, South Main St. Coventry. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours, Wednesday, 5-8pm
