Nancy L. Palmieri

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Rodio) Palmieri.

Nancy was an X-Ray technician, beginning her career in 1970 at Rhode Island Hospital and moving on to the private office of Dr. Thomas Bliss, until her retirement in 2011.

In addition to her career in the medical field, Nancy was a jewelry artisan, a needlepoint artist and a skilled crocheter, creating many beautiful original accessories for friends, family and herself. She enjoyed photography, spending many hours in her darkroom; and continuing to learn new techniques with the emergence of digital photography. She was also delighted in attending many rock and rhythm and blues concerts by performers of national fame and was a loyal supporter of local musicians.

Nancy was the beloved sister of Ronald Palmieri and his wife Patricia and she was the cousin/sister of John Caito. She was the cherished aunt of Ryan Palmieri and his wife Lindsay, as well as Robb Palmieri and his wife, Shandra. She was the great aunt of Sebastian Palmieri and Viviana Palmieri, and was anxiously awaiting the soon-to-be arrival of Sebastian's new brother. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Dennis Palmieri
