Orlando “Uncle Al” Zangari, 91, passed away January 1, 2013 at home. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Serafina (Petrone) Zangari and husband of the late Filomena “Fanny” (Pascale) Zangari.
Al was co-owner of Almat Autobody of Pawtucket with his brother Mondi and also worked many years in sales at Colonial Motors. He was also a WW II Army Veteran.
He is survived by his sister Gloria Ferrara and many loving nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Anthony and Armando “Mondi” Zangari, Elizabeth Paolo, Julia Parrillo and Norma Andrade.
Visitation and funeral services will be Friday between 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with a service at 12:30 pm in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
