Paul Savickas

Paul Savickas, 63, passed away unexpectedly December 11, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Lisa (Harrison) Savickas for 39 years, a wonderful father to his three sons, Paul (Kelly), James, and Thomas, and the cherished “Grampy” of his beautiful granddaughters, Keira and Katie.

Paul was born in Providence, son of the late Anthony and Anna (Kolosovski) Savickas, and the brother of Peter, Anthony, and Joseph (Lori) Savickas. He earned his BS from the University of Rhode Island, and his MBA from Bryant University.

Paul was a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager, employed by Raytheon in Portsmouth, RI for almost 40 years. He was very proud of playing football for Classical and staying in touch with fellow classmates with regular cookouts or getting together for food and drinks at a restaurant. He has served on the SAE Fraternity Alumni board for more than a decade and for almost that long on the Providence Lions Club Board as its Treasurer. But he was most proud of his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Paul provided the strength and foundation for his family. He will be deeply missed and always remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation, Monday, 430 PM - 730 PM. Funeral will begin on Tuesday at 930 AM followed by a service at 10 AM in the Russell J. Boyle Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence. Burial is in the historic Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
