Paula Petrella

Born in Rome, Italy, Paula was the cherished daughter of the late Eugenio and Anna Ruggeri. She was the beloved sister of the late Maurizio Ruggeri and a devoted mother to John Petrella (wife Melissa), Anna Carbone, Rita Guadagno (husband Thomas), Steven Petrella and Dean Petrella (wife Kelley).

She was the proud and loving grandmother of Stefan, Aaron, Gianna, Jacob, Thomas and Nadia Petrella, Amanda, David Jr. and Adam Carbone and Cross Patenaude. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in each of them.

Paula dedicated many years of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, caring for others with compassion and grace before her retirement. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession and into the lives of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
