Rita Frances Mello

Rita F. Mello (Taylor) 88, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Avalon Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Myron "Rocky" Mello. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late John and Nora (Boulais) Taylor. Rita loved to sing and read her bible. She is survived by her children, Myron J. “Rocky” Mello, and his wife, Susan, of Warwick, Barry Mello, of New Hampshire, Rita Defaria, of East Providence, and Lynn Vigneau, and her husband, Scott, of Warwick; a sister, Doris Bardsley; ten grandchildren, Barry Mello,II, Phillip Mello, Hayley Mello, Tyler Mello, Vanessa Goodwin, Matthew Mello, Rita M. Defaria, Michelle Defaria, Crystal Gillissie, and Rebekah Vigneau, nine great grandchildren, Barry III, Julie, Daisy, Aaron, Katalaya, Ethan, Aaliyah, Linzy, Jason and two more great grandsons on the way. She was the sister of the late Joseph Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Rita’s family on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 9:00 – 11:00 am, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117 - Exit 10 off I-95) Warwick. Interment will follow in Saint Stephen Cemetery, South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
