Robert Joseph Cocozza, Jr

EAST GREENWICH - COCOZZA, Robert J., Jr., 52, of Adirondack Drive died peacefully at home on Monday surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Janet A. (Guilmette) Cocozza. They had been married for 30 years. Born in Providence, a son of Robert J. and Virginia F. (Rapoza) Cocozza, Sr. of Warwick, he had lived in East Greenwich for the past 21 years. Mr. Cocozza was a self-employed property manager for many years. He had been very active in his children activities, especially their sporting events and Boy Scouts. He was a man of strength, courage, hope, love, and undying determination. He will always be in our hearts. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his loving children, Eric R. Cocozza, Kristen L. Cocozza, Brittany A. Cocozza, and Lauren E. Cocozza all of East Greenwich; three sisters Diane C. Martins, PhD. of Warwick, Lorraine A. Wright and Marguerite L. Pallini both of East Greenwich, and two brothers Thomas J. Cocozza of Warwick and James J. Cocozza of Cranston. Visitation will be Friday from 9-11am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Ave., East Greenwich. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to PanCAN,2141 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 7000El Segundo, CA 90245 in his memory will be appreciated.
