ProvidenceRobert A. "Bobby" Duffy, 51, of Veto Street, died Saturday at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. He was the husband of Sheila M. (Gordon) Duffy. Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur F. and Hope L. (Fagan) Duffy, he was a lifelong resident of Providence. Bobby was a laborer for the Laborers International Union of North America, and also worked for the Department of the Attorney General, in the Vehicle Fraud Division, for several years. He was also the owner of A & F Towing Company for many years. Beside his wife, he leaves a son, SSgt. Michael R. Duffy, (RIANG); six daughters, Kimberly Cardosi, Stephanie Perkins, Dawn Pitochelli, Gina Pitochelli, Christina Pitochelli and Melissa Fontes; a brother, Michael H. Duffy, fourteen grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was a brother of the late William E. "Billy" Duffy. The funeral will be held Wednesday, at 9:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Tuesday, 5 - 8 pm.
