Robert Eugene Lyons

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Elmer Hopp and Beatrice (Graves) Lyons.

Bob was employed by G Tech and prior to that he worked for Palmer Polishing. Bob enjoyed playing poker and billiards. He was also an avid NASCAR, Red Sox and Patriots fan.

He was the father of Robert Lyons Jr. and his wife Kimberly, George Johnson and his wife Theresa, Diane Lyons, Melissa Lyons and her fiancé Justin and Sandra Rodriguez and her wife Stephanie; grandfather of Teegan, Kyelen, Danielle and Dylan. He was also the brother of John Lyons, Shirley Cruso, Nancy Evon and the late James Lyons and he leaves his pet cat Peanie and grand dog Carter.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence concluding with a service in the funeral home 11:00 AM. Please omit sending flowers and send any/all donations to PARL (Providence Animal Rescue League)
